Mr. Shyama Sagar
Chartered Accountant
Mr. Shyama Sagar is a distinguished commerce graduate and a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants of India. He began his academic journey at Mangalore University, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree with a Gold Medal, setting a high standard for excellence early on.
From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Sagar honed his practical skills during his CA articleship with M/s. Sridhar & Brito, Chartered Accountants in Bangalore. Following his successful completion of the Chartered Accountancy examination in 2011, he continued at Sridhar & Brito as an Audit Manager until March 2013, deepening his expertise in audit and financial management.
In 2013, he took an entrepreneurial leap by establishing Shyama Sagar & Associates, Chartered Accountants. Building on this success, in 2014 he cofounded S R K C & Co, Chartered Accountants with partner CA Karthikeya, thereby expanding his impact in the financial sector
Throughout his career, Mr. Sagar has played a pivotal role in auditing major corporate and non-corporate clients across various industries including Education, Construction, Information Technology, Human Resources, Healthcare, Banking, Hospitality, Solar, and Engineering. His comprehensive experience spans Income Tax Law, Company Law, and the management of finance and accounts controls. Moreover, he is well-versed in Indian Accounting and Auditing Standards, as well as the generally accepted accounting principles in India.
Mr. Sagar is a qualified Registered Valuer, certified by the Government of India, further reinforcing his expertise and leadership in the field.
Karthikeya K C
Chartered Accountant
The partner of S R K C & CO, Mr. Karthikeya K C, is a Science Graduate and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) in practice. Mr. Karthikeya K C had been did Chartered Accountant articleship with M/s. Sridhar & Brito Chartered Accountants Bangalore gained wide range of experience in various audits including Bank audits.
He is in professional practice since February, 2013. After qualification he joined M/s. Vishnu Daya & CO, Chartered Accountants, Bangalore as paid assistant. He had worked as Partner and branch in charge of M/s. V D S R & Co, Chartered accountants, Chennai from 1st June 2013 to 16th January 2014 and involved in providing services in the area of Statutory audit, Internal Audit, Tax Compliances, both direct & Indirect taxes, Time bound Statutory compliances, Accounting, Representation before statutory authorities and a range of other professional services. He was also involved in the Statutory Audit team of Karnataka Bank in Vishnu Daya & Co, during his service.
He had been practicing in the name of Karthikeya & Co from 16th January 2014 to 31st March 2015 as a proprietary concern. In January 2014, he along with CA Shyama Sagar founded a Chartered Accountancy firm, S R K C & CO, Chartered Accountants and he has been in charge of the Mangalore branch of the firm since then.
